titleOfInvention Method of preparing fluoroplastic coating on a metal support
abstract FIELD: preparation of fluorine-containing polymer-based coatings. SUBSTANCE: formation of fluoroplastic coatings on surfaces of variety of metals and their alloys includes preliminary formation on metal surface of a polymer-ceramic layer being an oxide film at least 0.01 mcm thick impregnated with 2-50% solution of oligoaminoorganoethoxysilixane in organic solvent followed by applying a polymer layer 50-200 mcm thick and drying of the so prepared coating. Oxide film is formed either when allowed to stand in the air under ordinary conditions, or by thermal treatment in the air atmosphere, or by chemical or electrochemical treatment (for instance, by anodizing). The polymer layer consists of a composition based on 5-20 wt % copolymer of vinylidene fluoride with tetrafuoroethylene and/or trifluorochloroethylene and/or hexafluoropropylene and organic solvents. Coating characteristics: impact strength 50 kG.cm, bend 1 mm, adhesion 4.0-5.0 kG/cm, immunity to acids, alkalies, salts. EFFECT: improved quality of protective coating. 7 cl, 3 tbl
