abstract FIELD: production of sorption materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed adsorption-bactericidal carbon material contains adsorption carbon component and bactericidal additive. Activated carbon fibers are used as said carbon component, bactericidal additive being sorpted on the surface of said fibers. Organic compounds which contain active bactericidal groups (e.g. groups which comprise secondary, tertiary or quaternary nitrogen atoms) together with groups which are capable for soption on the surface of said activated carbon fibers (e.g. aromatic groups) are used as mentioned above bactericidal additive. Proposed material contains brilliant green or 2-ethoxy-6,9-diaminoacridine lactate or composition of two or more different bactericidal compounds are used as mentioned above bactericidal additives.
