FIELD: inorganic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: product: silicon dioxide sol of specific surface 750-1000 m 3 /g at microgel content 8-45 wt.-% and modification degree with aluminium - 2-25%. Sol is obtained by acidification of water glass solution to pH = 1-4 followed by alkalinization up to SiO 2 content 4.5-7 wt.-%, ripening and modification with aluminium up to modification degree 2-25%.
