abstract | FIELD: veterinary microbiology. SUBSTANCE: method involves immunization of 20-30 days old animals with standard vaccine dose 5 ml from the strain Brucella abortus-82 followed by after 14-21 days subcutaneous administration of T-activin at dose 4 mcg/kg or 0.04 ml/kg 0.01% solution and B-activin at dose 6 mg powder dissolved in 0.01% T-activin solution, once per a day, for 3 days followed by (after 1 year) serological examination and revaccination with the same vaccine at the same dose to serologically negative reacting animals. Method increases immunogenic properties of vaccine from the strain Brucella abortus-82 and provides the prolonged immunity in animals (up to 12 months as compared 10 months by the known method).
