titleOfInvention Method of synthesis of penicillanic acid 1,1-dioxide and its salt
abstract FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: 1,1-dioxide-6,6-dibromopenicillanic acid or 1,1-dioxide-6-α-bromopenicillanic acid is interacted with reducing agent - sodium sulfite. Process is carried out in an aqueous medium in the presence of sodium tetraborate or sodium dihydrophosphate at pH = 7.8-8.6. Then the end product is isolated as free acid or its salt. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis.
