titleOfInvention | Peptide showing oxitocin sequence |
abstract | FIELD: protein chemistry, peptides. SUBSTANCE: product: peptides of oxytocin sequence of the general formula: Boc-A-Cys-(Trt)-Pro-Leu-Gly-NH 2 where A - Asn (1), Ile-Gln-Asn (2), Cys-(Trt)-Tyr-Ile-Gln-Asn (3). Intermediate compounds in oxytocin synthesis were synthesized by condensation of C-terminal tripeptide with corresponding peptide derivative by activated ether method using dicyclohexylcarbodiimide and hydroxybenzotriazole. After removal of Boc-protecting group the synthesized pentapeptide is used for synthesis of compound (2) by condensation of compound (1) with corresponding dipeptide derivative by similar method. New hexapeptide is used after removal of Boc-protecting group for synthesis of oxytocin nonapeptide by coupling with corresponding dipeptide by activated ether method. Oxytocin properties: (α) 20 D = -28 degree (c = 1.1% AcOH), biological activity is 250-390 U/mg. Synthesized peptide is used in chemistry, biology and medicine for oxytocin synthesis. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis. 4 ex |
