Continuous method of synthesis of novolacs phenolformaldehyde resin with low content of free phenol |
abstract |
FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: novolacs phenolformaldehyde resins were synthesized by continuous condensation at the boiling point of phenol and formaldehyde mixture at their mass ratio = 100:(24.5-26.5) in the presence of hydrochloric acid and nickel oxalate (+2) dihydrate taken at concentration 0.1-0.5 mas. p. per 100 g phenol. Overresin water is separated and resin is dried in combination with flowing by live steam. Method is used in compositions for sand-resin mixtures for hot cladding. EFFECT: flowing time is decreased by 1.5-4.3-fold, decreased energy consumption, simplified technology. 2 tbl |
