abstract |
FIELD: microbiological industry. SUBSTANCE: as a result of multistep selection new pair of mutant strains of fungus Blakeslea trispora 185B(+) and 185B(-) producing beta-carotene is obtained. At combined subsurface cultivation of strains 185B(+) and 185B(-) at laboratory conditions on the nutrient medium of simple composition accumulation of beta-carotene is an average 300000 mcg/100 ml cultural fluid for 114 hr. EFFECT: increased yield of beta-carotene. |
