titleOfInvention METHOD OF PREPARING β-HYDROXYBUTYRIC ACID POLYMER
abstract FIELD: microbiological industry. SUBSTANCE: method is intended for preparing b-hydroxybutyric acid homopolymer which is destructible ecologically pure thermoplastic polymeric material. Strain-producer culture is sown on the liquid saline medium and fermentation process is carried out for one or two stages at continuous stirring and aeration of culture at 30 C and pH 7.0. Hydrogen, carbon dioxide or acetate were used as the main growth substrates. Bacterium Alcaligenes eutrophus SV B-5786 is used as the strain-producer. EFFECT: increased polyhydroxybutyrate content, decreased fermentation time, utilization of nonfood substrates. 4 dwg
