FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: the product: pyroracemic acid of the empirical formula: C 18 H 14 O 6 Ca.. The content of impurities is 5-6% the yield is 70-75% Reagent 1: benzyl chloride. Reagent 2: carbon oxide.
