abstract FIELD: treating of water. SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic filter has a housing located at the end of the source of ultrasound, receivers for thick products and liquid phase made in the form of slit shut-off devices and placed in the lower part of the housing, in the zone of standing wave. Filter is also provided with a regulated metal screen located on the housing wall opposing the ultrasonic vibrator. The distance between the planes of ultrasonic vibrator and those of the screen should be equal to half the ultrasonic wave length. The plates of shut-off devices are provided with regulators for changing width of slit. There is a suspension feeding block provided with a metering device for solution of flocculant.
