abstract | FIELD: household chemistry. SUBSTANCE: candle composition includes paraffin and polymer additives based on polyolefins. Polymer additive based on polyolefin is used in form of high-density polyethylene with mol.wt of 80000-400000, flow behavior index from 0.1 to 7.0 g/10 min and/or stereoregular polypropylene with mol.wt of 80000-200000 with isotactic part content of 80-95%, flow behavior index (at 190 C and 10 kg) from 0.1 to 30 g/10 min. Candle composition contains, mas.%: paraffin 98-99.995; polyethylene and/or polypropylene 0.005-2.0. Polymer additive contains polypropylene and polyethylene in ratio from 1:10 4 to 10 4 :1.
