titleOfInvention | Method of manufacturing phenol-formaldehyde resin dispersion |
abstract | FIELD: manufacturing organic compounds. SUBSTANCE: phenol-formaldehyde either alone or mixed with hexamethylene tetramine is subjected to suspension polycondensation in the presence of ammonia, polymeric protective colloid and absorbent carbon through which previously passed is sewage water following washing the phenol-formaldehyde resin dispersion. The carbon is next treated with the polymer protective colloid. In the zone of the suspension polycondensation reaction the relationship between phenol, absorbent carbon and protective colloid is 100:(6-55):(1.06-2.1). The protective polymer colloid to be fed directly to the reaction zone and the protective colloid introduced with the absorbent carbon are in the 1:(0.006-1.1) ratio. On completion of the process the mother solution is separated and recycled back to the process. The dispersion is washed with water. EFFECT: facilitated manufacture, reduced environmental pollution. 2 cl, 1 tbl |
