abstract | FIELD: fur and leather treatment. SUBSTANCE: method involves oxidative sulfonation of natural fat with sodium bisulfite in the presence of surface-active substance and cobalt nitrate at concentration 0.005-0.05% (as 2% cobalt to the total fat content). Then chloroparaffins (content of bound chlorine is 24-29%) were added to the reaction mass at concentration 35-72 wt.-% of reaction mass, mixture of anion-active and nonionogenic emulsifier taken at the ratio (0.6-0.8):1 at concentration 8-20 wt.-% of reaction mass, and process is carried out at pH 6-8.
