abstract FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes abstaining from alcohol during 5 to 9 h, subjecting alcoholic patient to autosuggesting treatment to provoke desire to take in alcohol, treating paravertebral regions of dorsum with use of multi-needle applicator during 10 to 25 min, inserting needles into corporal and auricular acupuncture points, keeping needles punctured, withdrawing needles and applicator, and then massaging liver during 10 to 15 min. If there arises desire to take in alcohol, above described acupuncture procedure must be repeated. Whenever asthenic syndrome is detected, disclosed method prescribes intramuscularly administering single dose of solution of pyrogenal and cardiamine and perorally administering bearberry tincture. Should arterial pressure rise be detected, single dose of hypothiazide must be administered. If patient feels uncertain after elapse of 24 h (after completion of basic procedure), electric craniostimulation must be carried out. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 5 cl, 1 tbl
