abstract FIELD: production of antiadhesion antifriction coatings. SUBSTANCE: composition for coatings contains finely divided polytetrafluoroethylene or copolymer tetrafluoroethylene with hexafluoropropylene in the amount of 25-60%; oxyethylated alkyl phenol 1.0-5.5%, organic solvent 0.5-8.0%, coloring matter 3-10%, formates and acetates of chromium (lll), manganese (ll), cobalt (ll), copper (ll), nickel (ll) 0.40-14.7%, the balance, water. Vessel furnished with propeller mixer is filled with aqueous dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene (or copolymer tetrafluoroethylene with hexafluoropropylene) with concentration of 50-65%; added to dispersion are organic solvent and coloring matter and mixture is mixed at mixer rotation speed of 100 rpm up to complete homogenization. Then, added is a calculated amount of saturated solution of formate or acetate and additionally mixed at mixer speed of 30 rpm for 1-2 min. Coating characteristics: microhardness 8.4 kg/sq. mm; tensile strength 170.6 kgf/sq.cm; elongation 260%: rate of wear 8.4 mg; thickness of single-layer coating 43 mcm.
