abstract FIELD: cellulose industry. SUBSTANCE: after alkaline boiling cellulose is washed up to concentration of residual active alkaline in mass 0.3-3.0 g/l as Na 2 O units and the presence of inhibiting reagent of phenylpropane derivative at concentration 0.1-0.5% of absolutely dry cellulose mass. Then cellulose is treated with atmospheric and/or ionized air which is fed under pressure 0.5-5.0 ati following by multistep whitening. EFFECT: improved method of cellulose production. 7 tbl
