titleOfInvention Immunomodulating agent
abstract FIELD: new medical agent intended to normalize immune status of organism. SUBSTANCE: antiinflammatory and antimicrobial agent - chlobasol - is used in the capacity of immunomodulator, particularly for treatment of chronic bronchitis with derangements of immune status. Chlobasol is administered at the rate of one tablet (0.1 g) three times a day for 14 days. As compared with known immunomodulator (levamisol), chlobasol features not only immunocorrecting but also antiinflammatory and antimicrobial effect. As distinct from levamisol, it is not toxic. EFFECT: new antiinflammatory and antimicrobial agent - chlobasol - is used in a new function, as immunomodulator.
