abstract |
FIELD: medicine, in particular, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: essence of this method resides in carrying out laser ablation of pupillary zone of cornea. This method prescribes conducting laser irradiation with truncated Gaussian distribution of laser irradiation intensity (width: 1.5 to 10.0 mm; wavelength: 0.19 to 0.25 mcm; pulse energy density: 120 to 300 MJ/sq. cm; pulse frequency: 1 to 15 Hz; pulse duration: 5 to 50 ns). In case of severe myopia, cure should be repeated three times at 2-month interval. EFFECT: promising results. 2 dwg |
