abstract FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: furnace has two low-temperature traps coupled in series by pipe-line. First pipe-line is connected to inlet of furnace and inlet of first trap. Second pipe-line is connected to inlet of second trap and source of xenon. Furnace also includes vacuum pump for its pumping out, two vessels for cooling agent each being placed coaxially to traps for vertical movement towards traps. Perforated partitions are inserted into each trap and additional pipe-line is coupled to second pipe-line and vacuum pump. EFFECT: improved efficiency of collection and cleaning of xenon. 3 dwg
