The polymer composition of claim 1, wherein the nucleating agent comprises a primary nucleating agent and a secondary nucleating agent. The polymer composition according to claim 7, wherein the polymer composition contains 0.01-0.15 wt.% Of the primary nucleating agent and 0.3-1.7 wt.% Of the secondary nucleating agent. The polymer composition according to claim 7, wherein the polymer composition contains 0.45-1.25% by weight of a secondary nucleating agent. The polymer composition of claim 1, wherein the primary base resin is a polypropylene resin. A method for producing a heat-insulating material, the method comprising the steps of a) providing a polymer composition according to any one of the preceding paragraphs, b) mixing the polymer composition to create a mixed composition, c) heating the mixed composition to a molten state to create a molten mixed composition, d) introducing at least at least one blowing agent into the molten mixed composition; e) extruding the extrudate composition. 12. The method of claim 11, wherein the at least one blowing agent is selected from the group consisting of carbon dioxide, nitrogen, helium, argon, air, water vapor, pentane, butane, fluorocarbon, fluorinated olefin, halogenated alkane, halogen-alkane refrigerant, and mixtures thereof. 13.
