titleOfInvention PIGMENT DISPERSIONS, THEIR PRODUCTION AND DISPERSING AGENTS
abstract 1. Branched simple polyetheramine polyols with color in Hazen units (defined in accordance with DIN ISO 6271) in the range from 100 to 600 (APHA), based on the polycondensation product of at least one trialkanolamine. 2. Branched simple polyetheramine polyols according to claim 1, having a polydispersity (Mw / Mn) in the range from 1.1 to 1.8.3. The branched polyetheramine polyols of claim 1 or 2, having a dynamic viscosity in the range of 300 to 500 VPa · s, determined at 60 ° C. in accordance with ASTM D7042.4. A pigment dispersion containing (A) at least one pigment, (B) at least one branched polyether amine polyol according to any one of claims. 1-3, and (C) water. 5. A pigment dispersion according to claim 4, characterized in that the pigment (A) is selected from inorganic white pigments and inorganic yellow pigments. The pigment dispersion according to claim 4, characterized in that the branched polyether amine polyol (B) has a polydispersity (Mw / Mn) ranging from 1.1 to 1.8.7. A pigment dispersion according to claim 4, characterized in that the branched polyether amine polyol (B) is obtained by polycondensation of at least one compound selected from triethanolamine, triisopropanolamine and tri-n-propanolamine or a mixture of at least two compounds selected from triethanolamine, triisopropanolamine and tri-n-propanolamine. 8. A pigment dispersion according to claim 4, characterized in that it further comprises at least one additive (D) selected from biocides, wetting agents, polyglycols, resins and surfactants other than the branched polyether amine polyol (B). 9 . Pigment dispersion according to any one of paragraphs. 4-8, characterized in that the pigment (A) has an average particle diameter (median, d50) in the range from 20 nm to 50 μm. 10.
