A telomerase inhibitory composition comprising at least one polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene block copolymer, as well as at least one telomerase inhibitor imidazol-4-one coordination compound, of the general formula wherein substituent A is selected from the group consisting of aryl substituents, fused aryl substituents, cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl, aliphatic substituents, double bond aliphatic substituents, triple bond aliphatic substituents, methylamine CHNH- substituent, carbethox i-group CHO (O) C-, five-membered heterocyclic substituents with one nitrogen atom, five-membered heterocyclic substituents with two nitrogen atoms, six-membered heterocyclic substituents, substituent B is absent or an aliphatic substituent, substituent C is a heteroaryl substituent attached to the imidazole-derivative 4-one through a carbon atom, X represents Cl chloride or NO.2 nitrate. A composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the coordination compound of the imidazole-4-one derivative is contained in an amount of from 5 to 60 mass%, the block copolymer is the rest. A composition according to claim 1, wherein the substituent A is an unsubstituted or monosubstituted or disubstituted aryl substituent, wherein the substituents in the aryl group are selected from the group consisting of halogens and alkyl substituents.
