The method of claim 8, wherein said alcohol comprises 2-butoxyethanol, diethylene glycol monobutyl ether, hexaethoxylated bisphenol A polyol, or combinations thereof. The method of claim 1, further comprising the following: (c) the by-product is distilled off from the reaction mixture of step (b), wherein step (c) and step (b) are simultaneous.
