abstract 1. A plant treatment composition comprising: a) particulate calcium silicate in the form of solid particles; and b) a plant treatment agent in combination in the form of solid particles of calcium silicate. 2. The composition of claim 1, wherein the plant treatment agent is associated with at least some calcium silicate to form stabilized particles for treating plants. A composition according to claim 2, containing from about 5 to 15% by weight of stabilized particles for treating plants. A composition according to claim 3, containing from about 7 to 8% by weight of stabilized particles for treating plants. A composition according to claim 2, wherein at least some of the calcium silicate is free calcium calcium silicate, and the composition contains from about 10 to 25% by weight of free calcium silicate. A composition according to claim 5, wherein the composition contains from about 1 to 18% by weight of free calcium silicate. The composition of claim 1, wherein the plant treatment agent contains a microbial agent. The composition of claim 7, wherein the plant treatment agent contains a spore of the fungus. The composition of claim 8, wherein the plant treatment agent comprises Clonostachys rosea. 10. The composition of claim 7, wherein the plant treatment agent comprises Beauveria bassiana. The composition of claim 1, wherein: a) the plant treatment agent contains a spore of the fungus; b) the spore of the fungus is associated with at least some calcium silicate; and c) the plant treatment agent has a density of about 1 × 10 to 4 × 10 spores per gram of calcium silicate with which it is bound. A composition according to claim 11, containing approximately 2 × 10 spores per gram of calcium silicate with which it is bound.
