The method according to claim 1, wherein said application step comprises applying to the skin requiring reduction of signs of aging, paulownina in an amount of more than zero to about 20%. The method according to claim 1, wherein said application step comprises applying to the skin requiring reduction of signs of aging, paulownina in an amount of at least about 20% by weight. A method according to claim 1, wherein said application step comprises applying to the skin, requiring reduction of signs of aging, paulownina in an amount of at least about 50 wt.%. The method according to claim 1, wherein said application step comprises applying to the skin, requiring reduction of signs of aging, paulownina in an amount of at least about 90% by weight.
