titleOfInvention METHOD FOR PRODUCING CHEMICAL SUBSTANCE
abstract 1. A method of obtaining a chemical substance by continuous fermentation, wherein said method comprises filtering the culture fluid of the microorganism (s) through a separation membrane; preservation of the liquid that has not passed through the filter in the culture fluid or return by a reverse flow of the liquid that has not passed through the filter to the culture fluid; adding feedstock for fermentation to the culture fluid; and extracting the product from the filtrate; where the specified fermentation feedstock contains pentose and hexose and where the specified microorganism (s) is (are) a microorganism (s) having a metabolic pathway in which pentose reductase and pentoldehydrogenase are used for pentose metabolism. 2. A method for producing a chemical substance according to claim 1, which includes the implementation of continuous fermentation under conditions when the oxygen transfer coefficient (KLa) is from 5 to 300 hours. A method of obtaining a chemical substance according to any one of paragraphs. 1 or 2, where the ratio of pentose to hexose, which are contained in the specified raw materials for fermentation, is from 1: 9 to 9: 1.4. A method of obtaining a chemical substance according to any one of paragraphs. 1 or 2, where the specified raw material for fermentation is a sugar syrup obtained from biomass. 5. A method of obtaining a chemical substance according to any one of paragraphs. 1 or 2, wherein said pentose is xylose. 6. A method of obtaining a chemical substance according to any one of paragraphs. 1 or 2, wherein said pentose reductase is xylose reductase. 7. A method of obtaining a chemical substance according to any one of paragraphs. 1 or 2, wherein said pentol dehydrogenase is xylitol dehydrogenase.
