titleOfInvention | LIPOSOMAL COMPOSITIONS OF CHLORITES OR CHLORATES |
abstract | 1. A liposome composition containing liposomes having at least one lipid bilayer, and chlorite, chlorate, or a mixture thereof, encapsulated in liposomes, wherein one or more suitable lipids are contained in the lipid bilayer. The composition of claim 1, wherein the composition contains chlorite, and in which the chlorite is stabilized chlorite. The composition according to claim 2, in which the composition contains chlorite, and in which the chlorite is OXO-K993.4. The composition of claim 2, wherein the stabilized chlorite contains 1-10%, 10-20%, 20-30%, 30-50%, or 50-90% (weight / volume) of OXO-K993.5. The composition of claim 1, wherein the composition comprises, based on the total content of encapsulated ions in the composition, from about 0.01% (weight / weight) to about 50% (weight / weight), from about 0.1% (weight / weight) to about 20% (weight / weight), from about 0.5% (weight / weight) to about 10% (weight / weight), from about 0.3% (weight / weight) to about 3% ( weight / weight) or about 1.0% (weight / weight) of encapsulated chlorite. 6. The composition of claim 1, wherein the composition comprises, based on the total content of encapsulated ions in the composition, from about 0.01% (weight / weight) to about 50% (weight / weight), from about 0.1% (weight / weight) to about 20% (weight / weight), from about 0.5% (weight / weight) to about 10% (weight / weight), from about 0.3% (weight / weight) to about 3% ( weight / weight) or about 1.0% (weight / weight) of encapsulated chlorate. 7. The composition of claim 1, wherein the composition comprises, based on the total content of encapsulated ions in the composition, from about 0.01% (weight / weight) to about 50% (weight / weight), from about 0.1% (weight / weight) to about 20% (weight / weight), from about 0.5% (weight / weight) to about 10% (weight / weight), from about 0.3% (weight / weight) to about 3% ( weight / weight) or about 1.0% (weight / weight) of a mixture of encapsulated chlorite and chlorite. 8. The composition of claim 1, wherein the encapsulated chlorite, chlorate or a mixture thereof has a pH above about 5, above about 6, above pr |
