abstract | 1. A driving belt containing a rubber portion that is molded by vulcanizing a rubber composition including rubber, resorcinol, and a melamine composition. The drive belt of claim 1, wherein the melamine composition is a hexamethoxymethylol melamine composition. The drive belt of claim 1, wherein the rubber portion is adhered to the cord or fabric, or the rubber portion is filled with a short fiber inserted therein. The driving belt of claim 3, wherein at least one of cord, fabric and short fiber is RFL (resorcinol formaldehyde latex) treated. The drive belt of claim 1, wherein an aramid short fiber is inserted into the rubber portion. The drive belt of claim 1, wherein the rubber comprises hydrogenated nitrile rubber. The drive belt of claim 1, wherein the rubber compound further comprises silicon dioxide. The drive belt according to claim 1, which is a toothed belt with toothed rubber, wherein the rubber portion constitutes at least a portion of the toothed rubber. The drive belt according to claim 1, which is a toothed belt including a cord, a toothed rubber located on one side of the surface, a support rubber located on the other side of the surface, and a lining fabric covering one side of the surface of the toothed rubber, said one side of the surface and said other side of the surface is disposed across said cord from each other, and at least said one side of the surface of the toothed rubber is formed by the rubber portion, and the facing fabric is adhered to the rubber portion.
