titleOfInvention PUNCHABLE AND TIGHTENING TRANSPLANT
abstract 1. A method of manufacturing an implantable tubular graft, comprising the following steps: a) providing a cylindrical mandrel having a surface; b) placing on the surface of the mandrel winding from the first graft material, which has high strength in a direction that is essentially circumferential with respect to the surface of the mandrel; c) placement of a coating of transplantable material from an elastomeric material on a winding; d) placement of a coating of a second graft onto an elastomeric coating material e) removing the resulting tubular structure from the mandrel and twisting the tubular structure. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein ePTFE is used as said first graft material. The method of claim 1, wherein ePTFE is used as said second graft material. The method of claim 3, wherein ePTFE is used as said first graft material. The method of claim 1, wherein silicone is used as said elastomeric material. A method according to claim 1, wherein fluoroelastomer is used as said elastomeric material. A method according to claim 6, wherein said elastomeric material is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and polyacyl vinyl ether. The method of claim 7, wherein said elastomeric material is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and polymethyl vinyl ether. The method of claim 1, wherein polyurethane is used as said elastomeric material. The method of claim 1, wherein the elastomeric material comprises two layers of different elastomers. The method of claim 10, wherein one of the different elastomers
