titleOfInvention | Glycosylated polypeptides and drug compositions containing these polypeptides |
abstract | 1. A polypeptide selected from the group consisting of: (A) SRIF14, consisting of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO. 1; (B) a polypeptide in which one or more amino acids has been deleted, replaced, or inserted compared to SRIF14 consisting of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO. 1; (C) an analogue of SRIF14; (D) a polypeptide 80% or more homologous to SRIF14 consisting of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO. 1; (E) a polypeptide further comprising N amino acids (where N is an integer from 1 or more to 20 or less) on the N-terminal side (A) to (D); and (F) a polypeptide further comprising M amino acids (where M is an integer from 1 or more to 6 or less) on the C-terminal side of (A) to (D); which are characterized in that at least one amino acid replaced by a glycosylated amino acid, and the polypeptide has an affinity for somatostatin receptors. 2. The glycosylated polypeptide according to claim 1, characterized in that it has any of the following characteristics: - the amino acid replaced by a glycosylated amino acid is represented by the amino acid corresponding to position 19 of SRIF14; - at least one amino acid is replaced by a glycosylated amino acid in the specified polypeptide (E ), wherein at least one of the amino acids replaced by glycosylated amino acids is in the indicated N amino acids at the N-terminal side of the polypeptide (E); or at least one amino acid is replaced with a glycosylated amino acid in said polypeptide (F), wherein at least one of the amino acids replaced with glycosylated amino acids is in |
