The pharmaceutical dosage form according to claim 1, wherein the calcium channel blocker comprises one or more of the following substances: amlodipine, aranidipine, azelnidipine, barnidipine, bencyclan, benidipine, bepridil, cilnidipine, klentiazem, clevidipine, diltiazem, efonidipine, etonidipine, etonidipine, felodipine, fendilin, flunarizine, gallopamil, isradipine, lacidipine, lercanidipine, lidoflazin, lomerizin, manidipine, mibefradil, nicardipine, nifedipine, nilvadipine, nimodipine, nisoldipine, nitrendipin, pranidylidinyldelenyl, pranidylidinyl, pranidylidinyl, pranidinyl 3. The pharmaceutical dosage form according to claim 1, wherein the dosage form contains from about 25 to about 200 mg of metoprolol and from about 2.5 to about 800 mg of calcium channel blocker. The pharmaceutical dosage form of claim 1, wherein the dosage form has an immediate release of calcium channel blocker. A pharmaceutical dosage form for treating cardiovascular disorders and suitable for once-daily administration containing a combination of fixed doses of metoprolol in a sustained release form and one or more angiotensin-II receptor blockers together with one or more excipients that control the rate of release. 6.
