titleOfInvention SIMPLIFIED RADIOCHEMICAL SYNTHESIS [18F] OF FLUOROMETHYLBROMIDE
abstract 1. A process for purifying a compound of formula (I) wherein R1 is a halogen or a sulfonate, X is a fluorine atom (F), Y is CH, CHD or CD, and D is deuterium, comprising the step of: - purifying a compound of formula (I) by distillation with at least one solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridge containing a stationary phase selected from the group consisting of a C8-C30 alkyl chain, more preferably a C8-C20 alkyl chain, even more preferably a C15-C20 alkyl chain, most preferably a C18 alkyl chain chain.2. A method according to claim 1 for purifying a compound of formula (I), wherein R1 is a halogen or a sulfonate, X is a fluorine atom (F), Y is CH, CHD or CD, and D is deuterium, comprising the step of: - purifying a compound of formula (I) by distillation using at least one solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridge containing a stationary phase selected from the group consisting of C30, C20, C18 and tC18, C15 and C8.3. The method according to any one of paragraphs. 1 or 2 purification of a compound of formula (I) in which R1 is a halogen or sulfonate, X is a fluorine atom (F), Y is CH, CHD or CD, and D is deuterium, comprising the step of: - purifying a compound of formula (I) by distillation with at least one solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridge containing a stationary phase selected from the group consisting of C30, C18 and tC18.4. The method according to any one of paragraphs. 1 and 2, wherein the fluorine atom (F) is the F isotope of fluorine and Y is CH or CD.5. The method according to any one of paragraphs. 1 and 2 in which the solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridge(s) contain a stationary phase is selected from the group consisting of C18 and tC18.6. The method according to any one of paragraphs. 1 and 2, which uses one (1) to five (5) solid phase cartridges.
