A liquid adduct consisting essentially of the reaction product (a) an aliphatic epoxy resin and (b) an isocyanate compound; where the viscosity of the adduct is less than about 60 Pa-s at about 25 ° C. 2. The adduct of claim 1, wherein the epoxy resin comprises a polyglycolic epoxy resin. The adduct of claim 1, wherein the polyglycolic epoxy resin comprises polypropylene glycol, polyethylene glycol, and corresponding mixtures. An adduct according to claim 1, wherein the isocyanate compound contains two or more isocyanate groups. The adduct of claim 1, wherein the isocyanate compound is a polyfunctional isocyanate compound. The adduct of claim 3, wherein the polyfunctional isocyanate compound contains more than two isocyanate groups. An adduct according to claim 1 comprising (c) a catalyst. The adduct according to claim 1, where the mass fraction (a) - (b) corresponds to the range of 60-98 for component (a) and 40-2 for component (b). 9. The adduct of claim 1, wherein the isocyanate compound is selected from the group consisting of MDI, TDI, hydrogenated MDI, hydrogenated TDI, and corresponding combinations. The adduct of claim 1, wherein the polyglycol epoxy resin is selected from the group consisting of polypropylene glycol diglycidyl ether, simple dipropylene glycol diglycidyl ether, 1,6-hexanediol diglycidyl ether, 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether, and corresponding combinations. The adduct of claim 1, wherein the adduct comprises a compound of the formula Formula I where R is selected from the group consisting of an aliphatic chain or a polyol chain, R is selected from the group consisting of a phenyl cyclic structure and a polymeric phenyl ring structure, and n is an integer greater than 1.12.
