titleOfInvention METHOD FOR THICKENING A COSMETIC COMPOSITION OF DRILLING IN ALKALINE MEDIUM EMULSION POLYMER CONTAINING AMPS AND HIGH CONTENT OF ACRYLIC ACID
abstract 1. A method of thickening a cosmetic composition by reacting the composition with a direct aqueous polymer emulsion, then adjusting the pH to a value in the range of 5 to 7, preferably in the range of 5 to 6.5, and more preferably in the range of 5.5 to 6, characterized the fact that the specified emulsion is free from surfactants and organic solvents other than water, and the specified polymer is formed by the following monomers in an amount in wt.%: a) from 20 to 60% of the mass. methacrylic and acrylic acids; b) from 40 to 80% of the mass. at least one monomer selected from ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate and mixtures thereof; c) from 0.05 to 22% by weight. 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid; d) from 0 to 1% of the mass. at least one crosslinking monomer; wherein the sum of components a) + b) + c) + d) is 100%; or a) from 20 to 60% by weight. methacrylic and acrylic acids; b) from 40 to 80% of the mass. at least one monomer selected from ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate and mixtures thereof; c) 0.5 to 25% by weight. a monomer containing a hydrophobic group; d) from 0.05 to 22% of the mass. 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid; e) from 0 to 1% of the mass. at least one crosslinking monomer; wherein the sum of components a) + b) + c) + d) + e) is 100%; moreover, the content of acrylic acid in% of the mass. in relation to the total weight of acrylic and methacrylic acids is in the range from 50 to 100%, preferably in the range from 80 to 100%, more preferably in the range from 98% to 100% and most preferably is 100% .2. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the monomer containing a hydrophobic group corresponds to the general formula R- (OE) - (OP) -R ', where: - m and n are integers smaller or smaller than
