titleOfInvention PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATIONS OF AZOLES FOR PARENTERAL ADMINISTRATION AND METHODS OF PRODUCING AND APPLICATION FOR THE TREATMENT OF DISEASES SENSITIVE TO ASOLIC COMPOUNDS
abstract 1, A pharmaceutical composition suitable for parenteral administration containing an azole pharmaceutical agent and a first solvent, said first solvent containing a) an alcohol component selected from benzyl alcohol and / or acidified ethanol, and b) polyethylene glycol (PEG), wherein the agent is dissolved in said first solvent, wherein the composition is substantially free of nonionic surfactants and contains less than 5% water. 2. The composition of claim 1, wherein said first solvent comprises both ethanol and benzyl alcohol. The composition of claim 1, wherein the first solvent comprises acidified ethanol. The composition of claim 3, wherein the acidified ethanol is further defined as a combination of ethanol and acid, and the first solvent has a pH of from about 1 to about 5.5. The composition of claim 4, wherein the first solvent has a pH of from about 3 to about 4.6. The composition of claim 4, wherein the acid is HCl, citric acid, acetic acid, or glutamic acid. The composition according to claim 1, in which the ratio of PEG to alcohol is from 27 to 2.8. The composition according to claim 7, in which the ratio of PEG to alcohol is from 12 to 8.9. The composition of claim 1, wherein said PEG is selected from the group consisting of PEG-100, PEG-200, PEG-300, PEG-400, and PEG-800. The composition of claim 9, wherein the polyethylene glycol is PEG-400.11. The composition according to claim 1, in which the first solvent contains from 10% to 90% (vol./about.) PEG. The composition according to claim 11, in which the first solvent contains from 30% to 90% (vol./about.) PEG. The composition according to claim 1, in which the first solvent contains from 40% to 80% (vol./about.) PEG. The composition according to claim 1, in which alcohol
