| abstract | 1. An adhesive composition comprising: (a) at least about 50 wt.% Oil-modified thermoplastic alkyd resin; (b) a copolymer or mixture of copolymers in an amount of at least about 0.01 wt.%, Each the copolymer is formed from at least two types of monomers, of which at least one type of monomer is a polar monomer and at least one type of monomer is a non-polar monomer; and (c) at least about 1 wt.% solid plasticizer or a mixture of plasticizers. 2. The composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the oil-modified alkyd resin (a) contains oil in an amount of from about 40 wt.% To about 60 wt.%. 3. The composition according to claim 1, characterized in that component (b) is present in the composition in an amount of from about 1 to about 49 wt.%. The composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the non-polar type monomer is an olefin monomer, and the polar type monomer is a non-hydrocarbon monomer. The composition according to claim 4, characterized in that the non-polar type monomer is ethylene.
