titleOfInvention COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS INCLUDING ALKYL GLYCOSIDES FOR STABILIZING PROTEIN-CONTAINING COMPOSITIONS
abstract 1. An aqueous composition comprising an antibody and an alkyl glycoside having a CMC value of about 1.0 mM or more in water at 25 ° C. 2. The composition of claim 1, wherein the antibody is a monoclonal antibody. The composition of claim 1, wherein the alkyl glycoside is selected from the group consisting of n-hexyl-β-D-glucopyranoside, n-heptyl-β-D-glucopyranoside, n-octyl-β-D-glucopyranoside, n-nonyl-β -D-glucopyranoside, n-decyl-β-D-glucopyranoside, 3-cyclohexyl-1-propyl-β-D-glucoside, 3-cyclohexyl-1-butyl-β-D-glucoside, n-hexyl-β-D -Maltopyranoside, n-octyl-β-D-maltopyranoside, n-nonyl-β-D-maltopyranoside, n-decyl-β-D-maltopyranoside, cyclohexylmethyl-β-D-maltoside, 2-cyclohexylethyl-β-D-maltoside , 3-cyclohexylpropyl-β-D-maltoside, 4-cyclohexylbutyl-β-D-maltoside and 5-cyclohex silpentyl-β-D-maltoside. 4. The composition of claim 1, wherein the alkyl glycoside is n-octyl-β-D-glucopyranoside. The composition of claim 1, wherein the alkyl glycoside is n-decyl-β-D-glucopyranoside. The composition of claim 1, wherein the alkyl glycoside is n-decyl-β-D-maltopyranoside. The composition of claim 1, wherein the alkyl glycoside is n-hexyl-β-D-glucopyranoside. A composition according to claim 1, containing an amount of said alkyl glycoside inhibiting agitation caused by stirring. A composition according to claim 1, containing an amount of said alkyl glycoside that prevents oxidation. The composition of claim 1, wherein the alkyl glycoside is present in a concentration that is less than the CMC of the alkyl glycoside in water at 25 ° C. A composition according to claim 1, which is stable at a temperature of about 2-8 ° C for at least one year. The composition according to claim 1, which is stable p
