titleOfInvention REVISION IMPLANTS AND ENDOPROSTHESIS SYSTEMS FOR HIP JOINT
abstract 1. A revision implant system for revision of a patient’s hip joint, comprising: an acetabular cup comprising a cup-shaped portion and a peripheral portion, said acetabular cup having a first surface for engaging with a patient’s pelvic bone and a second surface located on the opposite side in relation to the patient’s pelvic bone; at least a portion of the second surface faces the femoral component of the hip implant; the specified acetabular cup has a group of screw holes extending from the first surface to the second surface; screw holes have a first diameter at the first surface and a second diameter at the second surface, the second diameter being larger than the first diameter; group screw holes have a threaded inner surface; a first screw having a shaft and a head, wherein: the shaft is characterized by a third diameter that is smaller than the first diameter of the screw hole; the head is characterized by a fourth diameter that is larger than the first diameter of the screw hole; there is a thread on the shaft for engaging in the structure of the pelvic bone; there is a thread on the head designed to engage the threaded inner surfaces of the screw holes in the acetabular cup. 2. The revision implant system according to claim 1, comprising: a second screw having a shaft and a head, wherein: the shaft is characterized by a fifth diameter that is smaller than the first diameter of the screw hole; the head is characterized by a sixth diameter, which is larger than the first diameter of the screw hole;
