titleOfInvention METHOD FOR CYCLOHEXANOL DEHYDRATION IN CYCLOGEXANONE
abstract 1. The method of dehydrogenation of cyclohexanol to cyclohexanone in the gas phase at elevated temperature in the presence of a catalyst containing zinc oxide and calcium carbonate, characterized in that the catalyst is 56 ÷ 88 wt. % consists of zinc oxide and 8.0 ÷ 39.0 wt. % - from calcium carbonate. 2. The method of dehydrogenation of cyclohexanol to cyclohexanone according to claim 1, characterized in that the used catalyst is used in the form of a catalytic system with alternating along the gas the following layers of different heights, filled in different ratios of catalyst and ceramic: - the first is a protective and distribution layer of ceramic with a height of 10 ÷ 20 cm; - the second is the layer of the ignition zone of the main reaction of the catalyst and ceramic in a ratio of 1: 1 with the height of the layer in the diameter of the flue gas duct; - the third is the layer of the zone of the main reaction of the catalyst and ceramic in a ratio of 3: 1 with a layer height equal to the height of the apparatus to the first inlet of the gas duct. 3. The method of dehydrogenation of cyclohexanol to cyclohexanone according to claim 1, characterized in that the pre-preparation consists in heating the catalyst directly in the reactor in a stream of nitrogen at a temperature of 320 ÷ 350 ° C for 6-8 hours. 4. The method of dehydrogenation of cyclohexanol to cyclohexanone according to claim 1, characterized in that the dehydrogenation process is carried out at a temperature of 320 ÷ 440 ° C, and the volumetric feed rate of the feed is maintained within 1.5 ÷ 2.0 hours
