titleOfInvention | ANTIBODIES AGAINST POLIUBIKVITIN AND WAYS OF THEIR APPLICATION |
abstract | 1. An isolated antibody that specifically binds to a first polyubiquitin containing a bond formed by K11 lysine, wherein said antibody does not specifically bind to a second polyubiquitin containing a bond formed by second lysine, which is different from a bond formed by K11.2 lysine. An isolated antibody that specifically binds both to the first polyubiquitin containing a bond formed by K11 lysine and to the second polyubiquitin containing a bond formed by second lysine, which is different from the bond formed by K11 lysine, while this antibody does not specifically bind to monoubiquitin and binds to the second polyubiquitin with a significantly lower binding affinity compared to the binding affinity for the first polyubiquitin. 3. An isolated antibody that specifically binds to polyubiquitin bound by lysine-11, while this antibody does not specifically bind to monoubiquitin. 4. The antibody according to claim 3, containing at least one sequence of the hypervariable region (HVR), selected respectively from any sequences of HVR-L1, HVR-L2, HVR-L3, HVR-H1, HVR-H2 and HVR-H3 SEQ ID NO: 2 and 57-60; SEQ ID NO: 3 and 61; SEQ ID NO: 4; SEQ ID NO: 6-11; SEQ ID NO: 12-17 and 67; and SEQ ID NO: 18-23, 68, and 69.5. The antibody according to claim 3, containing at least one sequence selected from HVR-H1, HVR-H2 and HVR-H3, of which HVR-H1 contains the amino acid sequence X1 X2 X3 X4 Ile X5 (SEQ ID NO: 24), where amino acid X1 is selected from serine and threonine, amino acid X2 is selected from asparagine, aspartic acid, serine and glycine, amino acid X3 is selected from tyrosine, serine and threonine, amino acid X4 is selected from tryptophan, asp |
