titleOfInvention METHOD FOR PRODUCING PARTICLES WITH REDUCED ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE
abstract 1. A method of producing carrier particles for a dry powder composition for inhalation containing 1) a fraction of co-micronized particles made from a mixture of excipient and additive, said mixture having a mass median diameter (MMD) of less than 20 microns; 2) a fraction of coarse excipient particles having an MMD equal to or higher than 80 μm, comprising the following stages: a) co-micronizing the excipient particles and additive particles; b) adding and mixing the resulting micronized particles with coarse excipient particles; characterized in that co-micronized the particles from stage (a) are first conditioned under the influence of relative humidity of 50-75% at room temperature for a period of time ranging from 6 to 60 hours. 2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the co-micronized particles are conditioned under the influence of relative humidity of 55-70% for a period of time ranging from 24 to 48 hours. The method of claim 1, wherein the additive is magnesium stearate. The method of claim 1, wherein the excipient is alpha-lactose monohydrate. The method according to any one of claims 1 to 4, where the mass diameter of the coarse particles of the excipient is from 212 to 355 μm. A method of obtaining a dry powder composition for inhalation, comprising the step of mixing carrier particles according to any one of claims 1 to 5 with one or more active ingredients. The method of claim 6, wherein the active ingredient is a β2-adrenergic receptor agonist selected from the group consisting of salbutamol, terbutaline, phenoterol, salmeterol, formoterol, indacaterol, vilanterol and milveterol. The method according to claim 6, where the active ingredient
