titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR PRODUCING GAMMA-BUTYROLACTON |
abstract | 1. A method of obtaining a gamma-butyrolactone product of biological origin, including: a) combining genetically modified biomass containing poly-4-hydroxybutyrate with a catalyst; and b) heating the biomass with a catalyst to convert poly-4-hydroxybutyrate to a gamma-butyrolactone product. 2. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the genetically modified biomass is a biomass of a recombinant host having a poly-4-hydroxybutyrate pathway, wherein the host contains an inhibitory mutation in its CoA-independent-NAD-dependent succinic semi-aldehyde dehydrogenase or in its gene CoA-independent-NADP-dependent succinic semi-aldehyde dehydrogenase, or contains inhibitory mutations in both genes, and contains stably integrated one or more genes encoding one or more enzymes selected from bitches inyl CoA: coenzyme A transferase, with succinyl CoA: coenzyme A transferase capable of converting succinate to succinyl CoA, succinate semi-aldehyde dehydrogenase, while said succinate semi-aldehyde dehydrogenase is capable of converting succinyl CoA to yang succinic semi-aldehyde reductase, wherein said succinic semi-aldehyde reductase is able to convert succinic semi-aldehyde to 4-hydroxybutyrate, CoA transferase, while said CoA-transferase is able to convert 4-hydroxybutyrate to 4-hydroxybutyryl-K A and poligidroksialkanoatsintazy, said poligidroksialkanoatsintaza capable of polymerizing the 4-hydroxybutyryl-CoA to poly-4-gidroksibutirata.3. The method according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that it is genetically modified |
