The composition according to claim 1, which contains at least 60 wt.% Of the meso-isomer of at least one oxolanyl compound. The composition according to claim 1, which contains at least 90 wt.%, The meso-isomer of at least one oxolanyl compound. The composition of claim 1, wherein the oxolanyl compound contains 2,2-di (2-tetrahydrofuryl) propane. The composition according to claim 1, which is a purified mixture.
