titleOfInvention SILICON PARTICLES WITH SILICON COATING
abstract 1. A method of producing silica-coated solid particles by dispersing the coated solid particles in an aqueous medium to obtain a dispersion of solid particles and adjusting its pH to a desired value using a buffer system to obtain a buffered dispersion of solid particles or by dissolving a buffer system in an aqueous medium to obtain a buffer solution with a certain pH value and dispersion of the coated solid particles in this buffer solution to obtain a buffered dispersion of solid particles and then adding a basic silicate solution to it to form a silica coating on solid particles during its application, characterized in that the composition and quantities of the buffer system and the basic silicate solution are chosen such that the pH value before adding the main silicate solution is at least 7, 0, and upon completion of the addition of the basic silicate solution is a maximum of 11.0.2. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the composition and amounts of the buffer system and the basic silicate solution are selected such that the pH before adding the main silicate solution is at least 8.5, and upon completion of the addition of the main silicate solution is a maximum of 10.5.3 . The method according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the basic silicate solution is added to the buffered dispersion of solid particles while stirring and while applying shear forces, preferably while stirring and while using the Ultra-Turrax dispersant. The method according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the temperature is buffered
