titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYMERIZED TONER |
abstract | 1. A method of manufacturing a toner, which includes the steps of: preparing an aqueous dispersion medium containing calcium phosphate; preparing a mixture of monomers, including a styrene-based pigment stabilizer having a weight-average molecular weight from 2000 to 200000, a charge regulator, a pigment and a monomer for a binder resin; dispersing mixtures of monomers in the form of drops in an aqueous dispersion medium; and carrying out suspension polymerization of a mixture of monomers dispersed in the form of drops, and calcium phosphate is used in an amount of 2 to 6 parts by weight. per 100 wt.h. mixtures of monomers. 2. The method of claim 1, wherein calcium phosphate is prepared by mixing an aqueous phosphate solution with an aqueous calcium salt solution. The method according to claim 2, further comprising adjusting the pH of the aqueous dispersion medium from 4 to 7 by adding a water-soluble inorganic acid to the aqueous phosphate solution and then adding an aqueous solution of a calcium salt thereto. The method according to claim 1, in which the styrene-based pigment stabilizer is one or more substances selected from the group consisting of styrene-butadiene-styrene, styrene-isoprene-styrene, styrene-ethylene-styrene, styrene-ethylene-butylene styrene, styrene-ethylene-propylene-styrene, styrene-butadiene, styrene-isoprene, styrene-ethylene-butylene, and styrene-ethylene-propylene. 5. The method according to claim 1, wherein the step of dispersing the mixture of monomers in the form of droplets in the aqueous dispersion medium comprises mixing the mixture of monomers and the aqueous dispersion medium to obtain a mixed solution and homogenizing the mixed solution in a homogenizer at a speed of 5000 to 20,000 rpm. The method according to claim 1, additionally include |
