abstract 1. The compound according to claim 1, characterized in that R is serine or threonine. The compound according to claim 1, characterized in that A is O, R is hydrogen, R is serine or threonine, and n = 1.4. The compound according to claim 1, characterized in that R denotes the amino acid side chain of valine. A compound according to claim 1, wherein the opioid is meptazinol, A is oxygen, R is hydrogen, R is a side chain or valine, n = 1, and R is serine. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound according to claim 5 and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient. The compound according to claim 5, containing a dihydrochloride salt represented by the formula: 8. The compound represented by formula: 9. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of claim 8 and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient. The use of a compound according to claim 1 for reducing pain symptoms in a patient suffering from pain.
