titleOfInvention | COMPOSITIONS FOR CLEANING SKIN WITH POLYGLYCERINE ETHERS AND HYDROPHOBIC-MODIFIED POLYMERS |
abstract | 1. Composition for cleansing the skin, including the following components: (a) a low molecular weight, uncrosslinked, linear acrylic copolymer; (b) an ester of a fatty acid and a polymer of glycerin, where the ether contains x glycerol repeating units, and the carbon chain length is n, where x ranges from 8 to 14; and n is from 10 to 18; (c) at least one surfactant from the group consisting of anionic and amphoteric surfactants or a mixture thereof. 2. The skin cleansing composition according to claim 1, wherein the total content of surfactants, including said anionic surfactant, amphoteric surfactant, and an ester of a fatty acid and a polymer of glycerin with the formula EPG-x-n, of said skin cleansing composition does not exceed about 15 wt.% Of the composition to cleanse the skin. 3. The composition for cleansing the skin according to claim 1, in which the ratio x: n is equal to from 1 to 2.4. The skin cleansing composition of claim 1, wherein x is from 10 to about 12.5. The skin cleansing composition of claim 1, wherein x is 10.6. The skin cleansing composition of claim 1, wherein n is about 12 to about 18. The skin cleansing composition of claim 1, wherein n is about 12 to about 16. A composition for cleansing according to claim 1, wherein said anionic surfactant is selected from the group consisting of alkyl sulfates, alkyl ether sulfates, alkilmonoglitserilefirsulfaty, alkyl sulfonates, alkylaryl sulfonates, alkyl sulfosuccinates, alkilefirsulfosuktsinaty, alkyl sulfosuccinates, alkilamidosulfosuktsinaty, alkyl carboxylates, alkilamidoefirkarboksilaty, alkyl succinates, fatty acyl sarcosinates, fatty acyl amino acids, fatty acyl taurates, fatty alkyl sulfoacetates, alkyl phosphates, and mixtures of two or more thereof. 9. The composition for cleansing the skin according to claim 1, where said ester is |
