titleOfInvention SiRNA CONJUGATE AND METHOD FOR ITS PRODUCTION
abstract 1. The conjugate of siRNA and a polymer compound having the following structure: A-X-R-Y-B, where A and B independently represent a hydrophilic polymer or hydrophobic polymer compound; X and Y independently represent a single covalent bond or a covalent bond through an intermediate linker; and R represents siRNA. 2. A conjugate of siRNA and a polymer compound having the following structure: A-X-R, wherein A is a hydrophobic polymer compound; X is a single covalent bond or a covalent bond through an intermediate linker; and R represents siRNA. 3. The conjugate according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the siRNA (R) single strand comprises from 19 to 31 nucleotides. The conjugate according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the hydrophobic polymer compound (A) has a molecular weight of from 250 to 1000.5. The conjugate according to claim 4, wherein the hydrophobic polymer compound (A) is a C-C hydrocarbon or cholesterol. The conjugate according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the covalent bond (X, Y) is a non-cleavable bond or a cleavable bond. The conjugate of claim 6, wherein the non-cleavable bond is an amide bond or a phosphate bond. The conjugate of claim 6, wherein the cleavable bond is selected from a disulfide bond, an acid cleavable bond, an ester bond, an anhydride bond, a biodegradable bond, and a bond cleaved by an enzyme. The conjugate according to claim 1, wherein the hydrophilic polymer compound (A or B) is a non-ionic polymer compound having a molecular weight of from 1000 to 10,000. The conjugate of claim 9, wherein the hydrophilic polymer compound is selected from the group consisting of polyethylene glycol (PEG), polyvinylpyrrolidone and polyoxazoline.
