abstract | 1. A stent containing: the main stent component, rolled into a spiral structure and containing a side edge having a wave-like contour; a first end edge and a second end edge, each of the end edges having a wave-like contour and comprising straight cylinders at the longitudinal ends of the stent; Reinforcement supporting the spiral construction of the main stent component. 2. The stent according to claim 1, in which the main stent component further comprises: a first side edge containing irregularities; and a second side edge comprising irregularities and connected to the first side edge, wherein said first end edge is connected to said first side edge and said second side edge is connected to said second end edge. 3. A stent according to claim 1, wherein said fastener comprises a structure selected from the group consisting of thread, wire and tape. A stent according to claim 3, wherein said mount is wound around the stent in a spiral direction. A stent according to claim 3, wherein said mount periodically partially overlaps at the junction of the main stent component along its length. The stent according to claim 1, wherein said mount further comprises a fibrous mesh. A stent according to claim 1, wherein said mount further comprises a porous material. The stent according to claim 1, wherein said mount further comprises a wear resistant material. The stent of claim 8, in which the wear-resistant material is polyurethane.
